REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA ' S MINISTER REGULATION REGULATION

NUMBER 24/M-IND/PER/2/2010 ON

PENCANTUMAN LOGO TARA FOOD AND RECYCLING CODES ON FOOD PACKAGING FROM PLASTIC

WITH THE GRACE OF THE ALMIGHTY GOD MINISTER OF INDUSTRIES OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA,

BALANCED: A. that in order to improve the competuing power of the packaging industry, protecting the health, safety, safety of the community and the environment, as well as the risk of use of packaging materials need to be regulated the use of the tara food logo and recycling code on each packaging food from plastic;

b. that based on the consideration of the letter a, it needs to be issued by the Ministry of Industry Regulations;

CHAPTER I OF THE GENERAL PROVISIONS

Article 1 In this Minister Regulation, referred to: 1. Food is everything that comes from the natural resources and water, either

which is processed nor untreated, which be reserved for food or drink for human consumption, including food adders, food raw materials, and other materials used in the preparation, processing, and or manufacture of food or beverages.

2. Plastic food packaging that is referred to as food packaging is a material used for luxury and food, whether it comes in contact with food or not, which is derived from plastic.

3. The next logo of Tara Food is a tagging that shows that food packaging is safe for food.

4. A recycling code is a tagging that shows that a food packaging can be recycled.

5. The Minister is the Minister who is the Minister of Industry. 6. Director General Pembina Industry is Director General of Industrial Agro

and Chemistry. BAB II

PENCANTUMAN LOGO AND RECYCLING CODE Section 2

(1) Any food packaging traded within the country, which is derived from the output of domestic or import services is required to be included in the logo and recycling code.

(2) Logo As it is referred to in verse (1) it consists of a food marker element and or a statement indicating the intended packaging is safe to pack food.

(3) the recycling code as referred to in paragraph (1) consists of: a. Markers of a type of plastic raw material; and b. Bookmarks can be recycled.

(4) The logo and recycling code as referred to in paragraph (2) and (3) are included in this Minister's Regulation Attachment.

(5) The size of the logo and the recycling code as referred to in paragraph (1) is adjusted to the size of the food packaging and must be clearly visible.

Article 3 (1) Ptrytuman logo and recycling code on food packaging as

is referred to in Article 2, using the clear and easy to understand Indonesian.

(2) The logo of the logo and recycling code on the food packaging as referred to in Section 2 of the paragraph (2) and (3) performed in such a way that it is not easy to remove from its packaging, it is neither easy to wear or break down, and it lies in the food packaging section which is easy to see.

(3) Ptrytuman logo and recycling codes on food packaging that it is not possible to be listed, inclusion is performed on secondary packaging or separate directions.

Article 4 Any attempt to produce the food packaging is mandatory: a. Conveing the correct information regarding the type of plastic raw materials

for food packaging; and b. Listing the logo and recycling code as referred to in

Article 2 on any food packaging. BAB III

COACHING AND OVERSIGHT Section 5

Director General Pembina Industries is required to perform coaching and supervision over the implementation of this Minister Regulation.

Section 6 of the coaching as referred to in Section 5 of the

Article 7 of the Director General of the Industry Establishing Technical Guidance of the Minister's Rules.

Article 7 of the Director General of Industry-General Manager of the Industry ("The Industry") establishes the Technical Guidance of the Minister of the Union

Section 8 of the perpetrators committing violations to the provisions in the Regulation of this Minister are subject to sanction in accordance with the provisions of the invitational regulations.

CHAPTER IV PROVISIONS OF THE COVER

Article 9 The rules of the Minister are in effect 6 (six) months from the date of promulgations, except for the repackaged food packaging that is already circulating on the market in effect 2 (two) years since the promulgations. In order for everyone to know, the Minister's Regulation is promulred by its discoverer in the News of the Republic of Indonesia.
