Pursuant to Article 23a (1) and (2) of the Treuhand Act, which is defined by Article 1 (9) of the Law of 9 August 1994 (BGBl. I p. 2062), the Federal Government is responsible for: Unofficial table of contents

§ 1 Transfer of tasks

(1) The property-related tasks assigned to the Treuhandanstalt under the Treuhand Act and Article 25 of the agreement are transferred with effect from 31 December 1994 to the Federal Ministry of Finance, which they shall carry out in the Agreement with the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology and the relevant Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. (2) Except for the transfer of tasks pursuant to paragraph 1, the following are excluded:

1.

the tasks relating to the provisions of the Third Implementing Regulation of 29 August 1990 on the Trust Act of 29 August 1990 (GBl. 1333), in so far as it is not intended for recreational purposes on 31 December 1994, for recreational purposes, or for recreational purposes other than small-scale gardens,

2.

the exercise of the rights and obligations arising out of contracts for the sale of land which are not yet fully carried out at the time of the transfer of tasks, and

3.

the exercise of the rights and obligations arising from administrative arrangements with the countries referred to in Article 1 (1) of the Agreement Treaty, or the Land Berlin, for the complementary financing of measures for the disposal of environmental contaminated sites and of Measures to improve the environment in the context of § 249h of the Employment Promotion Act.

§ 2 Transfer of company participations

(1) The business shares of the Treuhandanstalt on the property company of the Treuhandanstalt mbH, registered under HRB 36064 in the commercial register of the Berlin-Charlottenburg district court, shall be held in Berlin with effect from 31 December 1994. (2) The shares of the Treuhandanstalt in the companies referred to in Appendix 1 shall be transferred to the Liegenschaftsgesellschaft der Treuhandanstalt mbH with effect from 1 January 1995. (3) The shares and shares shall be transferred to the Treuhandanstalt mbH. (3) Shares of the Bundesanstalt für vereinigungsconditional Special tasks to the in Annex 2 shall be transferred with effect from 1 July 1996 to TLG Treuhand Liegenschaftsgesellschaft mbH. § 3 Entry into force
