First section
Establishment of registers in general

§ 1

The registers are kept in fixed volumes or in volumes or individual stitching with removable inserts. To the extent that the registers are guided in individual stitching with removable inserts, the requirements which require volumes are not to be applied. Unofficial table of contents

§ 2

(1) The volumes shall receive serial numbers. Each band regularly contains several register sheets of the same page number. In the case of the need, volumes for register sheets with a larger page number can also be applied. In these volumes, too, the number of pages of the individual register sheets should be the same. (2) The register sheets are given consecutive numbers. If the register consists of several volumes, the leaf numbers of each further band are connected to the preceding ones. § 3

The first free register sheet shall be used for the registration of the ship. Where a volume is laid down in accordance with Article 2 (1), third sentence, the ship shall be entered on the first free register sheet of this volume if it is to be assumed that the space of the register sheets of the otherwise used strip shall be used for the expected volume of the ship to be used on that ship. § 5

(1) The documents and copies which are to be kept by the Register Court in accordance with § 59 of the Register of Shipping Registry shall be taken into the register files. The same shall apply to the documents filed at the time of filing, insofar as they are not returned to the applicant. Management of the ship's register

§ 7

To the extent that an entry has become subject to a later registration, it must be highlighted in red. § 11

(1) Writes which occur in an entry shall be corrected by the Office. The correction shall be entered in the same manner as to the extent to which a change in the incorrect registration would be required. § 12

(1) If the responsibility for the management of the register sheet is transferred to another register court, the previous sheet shall be closed. (2) If the transfer of responsibility is based on the transfer of the home port or the home location, then the Transfer prior to closure. If applications for registration of changes in the law or correction of the register are hereby made, they shall be dealt with in advance. The same applies when registering the name change of a ship. (3) The previous register court has sent the new register court a certified copy of the register sheet, the register records and the ship certificate or the ship's letter. § 12a

(1) If the management of one or more sheets of register goes to another register court and the registers are kept in the two register courts in individual booklets with removable inserts, the closing of the register sheet may result in the closure of the register sheet. § 13a

§ 14

(1) If the registration of the ship is deleted, the register sheet shall be closed. (2) The deletion of the registration of a ship in the maritime register shall be communicated to the register court in which the ship was first registered. Unofficial table of contents

If the register sheet is to be closed (section 12 (1), section 13 (1), section 14 (1)), a closing note shall be entered in the inscription, indicating the reason for the closure. § 16

The name of the person concerned shall be entered in the Register of Ships:
1.
in the case of natural persons, the name (first name and surname), the profession and place of residence and, if necessary, other characteristics which clearly characterise the persons concerned;

in the case of commercial companies, registered cooperatives and other legal entities, the company or its name and its registered office.

Third Section
General procedural rules

§ 17

Section 22

(1) Simple copies shall be concluded with the indication of the date of their completion. They shall not be signed. (2) A copy shall be certified in such a way that a note shall be placed under the copy which bears witness to the conformity with the main text. The place and date of the exhibition must be indicated in the endorsement; it must be signed and marked with seals or stamps. (3) If the copy of a part of a register sheet is to be issued, the copy shall be: (a) to include in the subject-matter relating to the subject-matter to which the copy is to be made. The endorsement note shall indicate the subject-matter and bear witness to the fact that other entries in question are not included in the register. An abbreviated extract from the contents of the register may not be issued. (4) If certified true copies from the register files are requested, the endorsement note shall indicate whether the main address is a single original, a simple one. or a certified copy or a copy thereof; if it is a certified copy or a copy thereof, the endorsement note or the endorsement shall be included in the certified copy. 6.

1.
In the case of entries in sub-column 6c, the measurement data to be entered shall be accompanied by the group of letters relevant to each of the headings in this column.
2.
If the measures to be entered in column 6, sub-columns a to d, are not expressed in metres in the measurement letter, they shall be entered in the unit of measurement indicated in the measurement letter.
3.
In the cases referred to in Article 11 (2) of the Register of Ships, the results of the measurement carried out abroad shall be entered, indicating the certificate from which they are taken, indicating the name of the document and the authority which: this document has been issued.

§ 28

the renunciation of ownership;
c)
the transfer of a ship saving;

the prenotes and contradictions relating to the ownership and limitations of the owner at the disposal of the property;
e)
the term of protection (section 28 (2), section 81 (1) of the ship's register regulations) relating to the property;
f)
the changes in the names, companies and other names entered in column 2 and the changes made in the person of the correspondent;
g)
the deletion of the registered notice, contradictions, restrictions on disposal and protection of the protection.

§ 29

(1) In the third section, the following shall be entered:
1.
in column 1: the serial number of the entry in columns 2 and 3;
2.
in column 2: the amount of the ship's mortgage in numbers; in the case of the registration of a dusk or a lien on a ship, a horizontal line shall be drawn;
3.

8.
in column 8: the deletion of the registered rights, in the case of deletion of a ship's mortgage or of a lien on a ship saving, indicating the deleted amount in letters. If only a part of a ship's mortgage is deleted, column 2 of the deleted part is to be written off of the amount. If this deletion refers to a partial amount, the partial amount deleted is also to be written off in column 5 of the partial amount.
(2) For the registration of a right to Arrest (§ 931 of the Code of Civil Procedure), paragraph 1. (3) A note referring to a ship's mortgage or a usufruction shall be registered,

if it secures the right to grant such a right, in columns 1 to 3,

in other cases in columns 4 to 6.

Section 31

(1) The register court shall carry out a list of the seagoing ships to be registered by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development or by a body designated by that Federal Ministry for the purpose of allotment (Section 16 (2) of the Code of Shipping Code). (1) In the first division are to be entered:

in column 1: the name of the ship, if it carries one, the number or other official marks; in the case of the change, the new name;
2.
in column 2: the class of the vessel on the basis of the ship ' s documents (verification certificate, classification test, etc.) with the usual name and the main building material of the ship; in the case of the amendment, the new species;
3.
in column 3, the year of the batch, the place of construction and the shipyard on which the ship is built; if, however, this is not without particular difficulties, the fact that the particular fact is not established is not established;

5.

the renunciation of ownership;
c)
the prenotes and contradictions relating to the ownership and limitations of the owner at the disposal of the property;
d)
the term of protection (section 28 (2), section 81 (1) of the ship's register regulations) relating to the property;
e)
the changes in the names, firms and other names entered in column 2;
f)
the deletion of the registered notice, contradictions, restrictions on disposal and protection of the protection.

§ 36

§ 38

(1) If the ship is not yet surveying domestiy (Section 27 (1) no. 6), the results of the survey shall be entered in the ship's certificate to the left of the place designated for the registration of the official survey. § 40

(1) A new ship's certificate shall be issued if the ship is transferred to another register sheet or if the owner requests it. § 60

(1) If a machine-guided register sheet can no longer be reproduced in a legible form in whole or in part, it shall be re-established.
