Act on the German Red Cross and other voluntary aid societies within the meaning of the Geneva Red Cross Convention (DRC law - DRKG) DRKG Ausfertigung date: 05.12.2008 full quotation: "red CROSS law of December 5, 2008 (BGBl. It is under article 3 clause 1 of this G on December 11, 2008 entered into force.
Section 1 of the German Red Cross § 1 legal status of the German Red Kreuz E.v. is the national society of the Red Cross on the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and voluntary aid society of the German authorities in the humanitarian field. Agreement and pursuant to article 136 of the IV. Geneva agreement, 4. the placement of font changing under the conditions of laid down in article 25 para. 2 of the IV. Geneva agreement and the perception of the tracing service in accordance with article 26 of the IV Geneva Convention and article 33 para 3 as well as article 74 of additional Protocol I..
(2) for the tasks referred to in paragraph 1 No. 3 shall be the German Red Kreuz E.v. in the framework of budget funds in the were grants in accordance with section 44 of the federal financial regulation and to administrative law and incidental provisions each available.
(3) the German Red Kreuz E.v. performs also the duties assigned to him by federal law or provincial law.

§ 5 authorized tasks that are Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe E.v. and the Malteser Hilfsdienst E.v. to support of the medical services of the Bundeswehr. The Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe E.v. and the Malteser Hilfsdienst E.v. perceive also the tasks assigned to them by federal law or provincial law.
