On the basis of § 28 (5) sentence 1 and 2 of the Chemicals Act, as amended by the Notice of 25 July 1994 (BGBl. 1703), which is defined by Section 52 of the Law of 2 August 1994 (BGBl. I p. 1963) has been amended to:
With effect from 1 August 1993, the Republic of Finland has adopted Council Directive 92/32/EEC of 30 April 1992 amending for the seventh time Directive 67 /548/EEC on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to classification, packaging and Labelling of dangerous substances in force. The provisions of the second section of the Chemicals Act as well as § § 16a, 16b and 22 of the Chemicals Act, which concern matters or authorities in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, are therefore with regard to the Republic of Finland, of 1 August 1994, to be applied to the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety
