I.

Pursuant to Section 1 (3) of the Law on the Establishment of the Federal Administrative Office of 28 December 1959 (Bundesgesetzbl. I p. 829) I am commissioned by the Federal Administrative Office to carry out the following administrative tasks of the Federal Government:
1.
Exercise of the powers of the Federal Minister of the Interior on the basis of Section 147 of the Federal Social Assistance Act of 30 June 1961 (Bundesgesetzbl. 815);
2.
Settlement with the local institutions of social assistance on the federal funds guaranteed for benefits under § § 119 and 146 of the Federal Social Assistance Act (Bundessozialhilfe gesetz);
3.
Participation in the administration of replacement claims-Article 4 of the German-Swiss Care Agreement of 14 July 1952 (Federal Law Gazette). 32), in conjunction with the associated Final Protocol, for assistance cases which have not been completed at the date of entry into force of the said Agreement, or which have been initiated after that date, to the extent that: participation in cooperation with the local social assistance institutions is required;
4.
Administration of the German interest representation in Switzerland (established by the decision of the Swiss Federal Council of 8 and 18 May 1945) to provide compensation for support cases, which are justified before the entry into force of the German-Swiss Federal Council The welfare agreement was concluded;
5.
Participation in the assertion of compensation claims based on the European welfare agreement of 11 December 1953 (Federal Law Gazette). 1956 II p. 564).

II.

Insofar as this order relates to the exercise of the powers pursuant to Section 147 of the Federal Social Assistance Act (Section I, point 1), it shall enter into force on 1 June 1962. Moreover, the arrangement with its announcement in the Federal Gazette comes into effect. At the same time, the order of 29 January 1960 (Federal Gazette No 23 of 4 February 1960) is not in force.
