I. Cargo

1.
Question Time shall be held in each session week for a total duration of no more than 180 minutes. Each member of the Bundestag shall have the right to reply to the oral question for Question Time to the oral question of a part-session or to two questions for oral question to the The questions need to be brief and provide a brief answer. The questioner is entitled to ask up to two supplementary questions if the question is answered orally. For supplementary questions, point 1 (3) shall apply accordingly.

The President shall allow other supplementary questions by other Members of the Bundestag, insofar as this does not endanger the proper conduct of Question Time.
5.
Supplementary questions, which are not directly related to the main question, shall be rejected by the President.

II. The submission of questions

The questions shall be submitted to the President (Parliament's Secretariat) in four copies.
7.
Questions shall be included in the printed matter for Question Time only if they comply with point 1 (3) and (2) (1).
8.
Oral questions must be submitted to the Federal Government before the meeting week to Friday, 10 a.m., at the President and until Friday, 12.00 noon.
9.
The President shall allow questions of apparent urgent public interest (urgent questions) for Question Time if they are tabled no later than the previous day before 12 noon. Point 1 (2) and (3) shall apply.

III. Conduct of Question Time

The President shall call the question number and the name of the questioner. If questions are already available on the same question circle, they will also be raised. Questions may only be answered if the questioner is present. If the questioner is not present, his question shall be answered in writing only if he has asked for written answer until the start of Question Time with the President.

If the competent Federal Minister or his representative is not present, the questioner may request that his questions be called at the beginning of Question Time in which the Minister of the Federal Republic or his representative is present; his or her question shall be entitled to will not be restricted by this.

Questions which are not answered in question times of a week due to lack of time will be answered by the Federal Government in writing, unless the questioner has asked his questions at the end of the last Question Time of one week before the meeting of the meeting. . IV. Written questions

13.
Each member of the Bundestag shall be entitled to address up to four questions for written answer to the Federal Government in each month. In the case of the admissibility of the questions, point 1 (3) and (2) (1) shall apply accordingly.

The questions will be answered by the Federal Government within one week of receipt by the Federal Chancellery. The answers received during one week will be published in the following week together with the questions in a printed matter.

If the reply has not been received by the President (Parliament's secretariat) within the time-limit of the week, I can request that his question for oral answer during the first Question Time of the week of sittings following the expiry of the deadline. The request must be submitted by 12 noon on the previous day of Question Time with the President (Parliament Secretariat).
