§ 1 Vocational Training

(1) The following activities are to be attributed to the concrete stone and terrazzo manufacturers ' craft:
1.
Design, manufacture, machining and surface design of concrete blocks also using plastics,
2.
Production of concrete and reinforced concrete parts as well as concrete products also using plastics,
3.
Installation, transfer and anchorage of components,
4.
Design of washing concrete, exposed concrete and terrazzo work on construction sites,
5.
Execution of restoration and conservation work.
(2) The following knowledge and skills are to be attributed to the concrete stone and terrazor manufacturer's craft:
1.
Knowledge of statics,
2.
Knowledge of the physical interrelationships of heat, sound, fire and moisture protection and measures to save energy,
3.
knowledge of the construction of forms and formwork,
4.
knowledge of concrete technology,
5.
Knowledge of concrete and reinforced concrete construction,
6.
knowledge of the setting-up and hardening processes,
7.
Knowledge of the composition of terrazzomic mixtures,
8.
knowledge of the structure of leading Terrazzoböden,
9.
Knowledge of laying, setting and anchoring techniques,
10.
Knowledge of professional restoration and conservation techniques,
11.
knowledge of natural stones,
12.
Knowledge of the extent and quantity calculation,
13.
Knowledge of the establishment and operation of concrete works,
14.
Knowledge of construction, art and auxiliary materials,
15.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety and occupational safety regulations,
16.
Knowledge of the professional regulations of the construction supervision, the regulations for the construction work, the occupational standards and guidelines, the regulations of the building regulations and the occupational regulations of the environment, in particular the the protection of immission and waste disposal,
17.
Produce and evaluate drawings, as well as laying and set plans,
18.
Design and manufacture of shapes and formwork,
19.
Cutting, bending and braiding of steel for reinforcements,

Introduction and compaction of concrete and terrazzo mixes,

Disconnection, post-treatment, transport and storage of the products,

Machining of the workpieces and treating their surfaces,

Manufacture of special formwork for the design of surfaces,

Edit, move, move and anchor natural stones,
26.
Assembling, laying, placing and anchoring of concrete products,
27.
Perform concrete repair work,
28.
Preparing the subsoil for terrazzo floors and dividing the surfaces by separating rails,
29.
Build-up and deconstruction of work stands and platforms
30.
Service and maintenance of the professional equipment and tools as well as the operation of the machines.

Examination requirements in Parts I and II of the Master Examination

§ 2 Structure, duration and existence of the practical test (Part I)

(1) In Part I, a master examination is to be completed and a work sample to be carried out. In the determination of the master examination work, the proposals of the test item are to be taken into consideration as far as possible. (2) The preparation of the master examination work should no longer than five working days, the execution of the work sample no longer than (3) Minimum requirements for the existence of Part I are sufficient performances in the master examination work and in the working sample. § 3 Master Examination

(1) One of the following works is to be carried out as a master's thesis:
1.
a constructive or profiled finished part,
2.
Parts of a straight or coiled staircase,
3.
a contoured window or door frame,
4.
a multicolor or a conductive terrazzo floor,
5.
an artistically designed piece of work, including gravestones and ornaments.
(2) Before the examination of the master examination, the examinee shall submit the work drawing with measurements, the quantity calculations and the preliminary calculation for approval to the Master examination committee. (3) The working report and the calculation are at the Assessment of the Master's examination work. Unofficial table of contents

§ 4 Work sample

(1) Two of the following works shall be considered as a working sample, including in any case the work referred to in point 1:
1.
Carry out a sieve sample with the sieve curve, including the drawing of the sifting line into a form,
2.
Tearing up a staircase or a staircase,
3.
Manufacture a profiled concrete piece,
4.
Manufacture of a wax concrete, including the form,
5.
Machining the surface of concrete stone,
6.
Manufacture a profiled shape made of wood, plaster, concrete or plastic,
7.
Cutting lengths, bending and braiding of a steel reinforcement according to the reinforcement plan for a constructive prefabricated concrete part,
8.
Introduction and rolling of the mixture for a terrazzo floor.
(2) The working sample shall examine the most important skills and knowledge which could not be proved, or only insufficiently demonstrated, in the master examination work. Unofficial table of contents

§ 5 Examination of the subject-theoretical knowledge (Part II)

(1) In Part II, knowledge in the following five examination subjects shall be proven:
1.
Technical mathematics:
a)
Body and weight calculations,
b)
Quantitative calculations for concrete stone works,
c)
Mixing Calculations,
d)
simple static calculations of workpieces,
e)
calculations of stairways;
2.
Technical drawing: production and evaluation of drawings as well as laying and set-up plans;
3.
Technical technology:
a)
Statics in concrete and reinforced concrete construction,
b)
physical relationships of heat, sound, fire and moisture protection, and energy saving measures,
c)
concrete and reinforced concrete structures,
d)
Constructions and anchorage techniques for finished parts,
e)
Terrazzoböden,
f)
Offset and laying techniques for components made of concrete stone,
g)
design and design,
h)
Establishment and operation of concrete works, including machine dogs,
i)
professional occupational safety and health requirements,
k)
professional regulations of the supervision of construction, the regulations for construction services, professional standards and guidelines, regulations of the building regulations as well as occupational regulations of the environment, in particular the protection of the immission and the waste disposal;
4.
Building material customer:
a)
Types, properties, storage, transport, use and processing of building materials and auxiliary materials,
b)
Plastics as binders, additives and coatings,
c)
connection and fixing means;
5.
Calculation: Costing with all factors that are essential for price formation, including calculations for the supply and post-calculation, as well as the preparation of a performance description and billing.
(2) The examination shall be carried out in writing and orally. (3) The written examination shall not take more than 15 hours in total, the oral test shall not take more than half an hour. In the written examination, it is not to be examined for more than six hours in one day. (4) The examinee must be exempted from the oral examination on request if he has performed at least good written services on average. (5) The minimum requirement for the existence of Part II shall be sufficient performance in each of the examination subjects referred to in paragraph 1 (2) and (3).

Transitional and final provisions

§ 6 Transitional provision

The examination procedures under way at the date of entry into force of this Regulation shall be completed in accordance with the existing provisions. Unofficial table of contents

§ 7 Additional requirements

The further requirements in the Master Examination are determined by the Ordination on Common Requirements in the Master Examination in the Craft Sector of 12 December 1972 (BGBl. 2381), as amended. Unofficial table of contents

Section 8 Entry into force

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 1993.
