§ 1 Establishment of the Federal Office

The Federal Office for Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance is set up by the Federal Office for the Protection of Civil Protection and Civil Protection. Federal authority. It is under the responsibility of the Federal Ministry of the Interior. Non-official table of contents

§ 2 Tasks of the Federal Office

(1) The Federal Office shall carry out tasks of the Federal Government in the areas of civil protection and of the federal government. Civil protection assistance which is transferred to it by the Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance Act or other federal laws or by reason of these laws or with their implementation by the Federal Ministry of the Interior or with the consent of the Federal Ministry of the Interior , unless otherwise specified by law or by law, other competent federal authorities are responsible for the task of the competent federal authorities.(2) The Federal Office shall assist the Federal Ministry of the Interior in the areas referred to in paragraph 1 and with its approval by the competent federal supreme federal authorities.(3) Insofar as the Federal Office carries out tasks from a different business unit than that of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, it is subject to the professional supervision of the competent top federal authority.
