Decree of 10 January 2003 on the designation of controlled origin " Saint-Bris "

On the report of the Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Rural Affairs and the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry,
In view of Council Regulation (EC) No 1493/1999 of 17 May 1999 on the common organisation of the market in wine and the regulations made for its application;
Given the general tax code;
Given the Customs Code;
Seen the Rural code;
Given the code of consumption;
In view of Decree No. 991 of 3 April 1942 implementing Act No. 445 of 3 April 1942 on controlled names, supplemented by Decree No. 48-707 of 21 April 1948 on appellations Of controlled origin;
In light of the decree n ° 87-854 of 20 October 1987 as amended relating to the auctioneeing and performance of vineyards on farms producing wines, natural sweet wines and liqueur wines with an appellation of origin;
Seen the Decree No. 93-1067 of 10 September 1993 on the performance of vineyards producing wines with a controlled designation of origin, as amended by Decree No. 99-279 of 12 April 1999;
Having regard to Decree No. 2001-510 of 12 June 2001 on the application of the Code Consumption with regard to wines, sparkling wines, sparkling wines and liqueur wines;
In view of Decree No. 2001-1163 of 7 December 2001 on the analytical and organoleptic examinations of wines with a controlled designation of origin;
Seen the Proposal of the National Wine and Life Committee of the National Institute of Appellations of Origin of 13 and 14 February 2002,

Only entitled to a controlled appellation of origin " Saint-Bris " Dry white wines that meet the following conditions.

The wine production area includes the territory of the following communes in the department of Yonne: Saint-Bris-le-Vineux, Chitry, Irancy, Quenne, Vincelrots.

a) Density:
The minimum planting density is 7 000 vines per hectare;
The maximum row spacing is 1.30 Metre;
(b) Driving:
The minimum height of clam foliage is 0.6 times the distance between rows;
c) Size:
The only allowed size mode is the simple guyot size with a single long wood with eight clear eyes to the Maximum and no more than two curbs. The total of the free eyes per cep shall not exceed 10.
