Vu le Decree No. 2005-1075 of 23 August 2005 issuing Annex V to the Protocol to the Antarctic Treaty on Environmental Protection, Protection and Management of Areas, adopted in Bonn on 18 October 1991,
Decrete:
Measure 16 (2014) Specially protected area of Antarctica No. 114 (North Coronation Island, South Orcades Islands), adopted in Brasilia on May 7, 2014 - Management Plan repealed, will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
The Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Development are responsible, each with respect to him, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

PROTECIALLY PROTECTED ONERATIC ONE NO. 114 (NORD CORONATION ISLAND, SOUTH ORCAD ISLANDS) (ENSEMBLE ANNEX), ADOPTED at BRASILIA on 7 MAY 2014 - ABROGGIA MANAGEMENT PLAN
The representatives,
Recalling Articles 3, 5 and 6 of Annex V to the Protocol to the Antarctic Treaty on Environmental Protection that provide for the designation of specially protected areas of Antarctica ("SPA") and the approval of management plans for those areas;
Recalling
Recommendation XIII-10 (1985) which designated Coronation Island of the North, Orcades Islands of the South as specially protected areas ("ZSP") No. 18 and annexed the map of the area;
Recommendation XVI-6 (1991), which annexed the revised management plan for PSA No. 18;
Decision 1 (2002), which renamed and renumbered the PSA No. 18 in PSA No. 114;
Measure 2 (2003), which adopted the management plan for ZSPA No. 114;
Recalling that Recommendation XIII-10 (1985) was designated as no longer in force by Decision 1 (2011);
Recalling that Recommendation XVI-6 (1991) has not yet entered into force;
Noting that the Committee for the Protection of the Environment has examined the merits of the additional protection afforded by the status of ZSPA to Coronation Island of the North, Orcades Islands of the South;
Wishing to update the status of ZSPA No. 114;
Recommend that their Governments approve the following measure in accordance with Article 6, paragraph 1, of Annex V to the Protocol to the Treaty on the Protection of the Environment:
What:
1. The revised management plan for the specially protected area of Antarctica No. 114 annexed to Measure 2 (2003) is repealed; and
2. The specially protected area designation of Antarctica No. 114 is no longer used in the future.
