The National Frequency Agency, an administrative institution of the State, is authorized to create an automated processing of personal data called "Management of Licences and MMSI Number".
The purpose of the teleservice is to manage the licensing and identities of the radio stations of the marine mobile service, the radiocommunication service on inland waterways and the marine mobile satellite service as defined by the Radiocommunication Regulations referred to above.
The registered personal data categories relating to the licence applicant are:
1° For the management of the applicant's identification:
- civility;
- family name or name of the association or organization;
- first name(s);
- date of birth;
- postal address (address, postal code, locality, country);
- e-mail address;
- quality of the applicant (owner, owner in the context of a rental with purchase option, other cases);
- phone: home, work, mobile;
- Fax.
2° For the identification of the applicant's emergency contacts:
- family name;
- first name(s);
- telephone number;
- link with the applicant (relative link, other cases).
3° For the management of access traceability:
- login data: ID, password.
The personal data referred to in Article 3 shall be retained for a period of four months.
The recipients or categories of recipients authorized to receive communication from all or part of these data, within the limits of the need to know and because of their respective responsibilities, are:
- officers of the National Frequency Agency;
- the licence applicant.
The rights of access, rectification and opposition provided by Articles 38 et seq. of the Act of 6 January 1978 referred to above operates with the Director General of the National Frequency Agency, located at 78 Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, 94700 Maisons-Alfort.
The Director General of the National Frequency Agency is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
