Purpose: To ensure that members participating in the Barkhane external operation, as well as their cause, benefit from the increased coverage of the disability and death risks provided for in theArticle L. 4123-4 of the Defence Code.
Entry into force: the text comes into force on the day after its publication.
Notice: The text allows the military, as well as their cause, to be granted in the context of Operation Barkhane, from 1 October 2014 to 30 September 2016 included, in the territories of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of Algerian Democratic and People's Republic, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, the Republic of Niger, Libya, Nigeria

Open the right to provisions of Article L. 4123-4 of the Defence Code services carried out within the framework of Operation Barkhane on the territories of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the Republic of Senegal, the Republic of Mali, the Democratic and People's Republic of Algeria, the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso, the Republic of Niger, Libya, the Republic of Chad, the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the Republic of Cameroon and the Central African Republic effective 1 October 2014.
This Order shall be effective for a period of two years from the date provided for in Article 1.
The Minister of Finance and Public Accounts, the Minister of Defence and the Secretary of State responsible for the budget are responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
