Notice: the decree amends the specifications of the controlled label of origin "Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh" approved by the Decree No. 2011-1705 of 30 November 2011 : it allows the operators to use in the labelling of the wines the name of a place-dit, as permitted by Article 120 of Regulation (EU) No 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 concerning the joint organisation of the markets of agricultural products.

On the report of the Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, spokesman for the Government,
Having regard to Regulation (EU) No. 1308/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 December 2013 concerning the joint organization of products markets;
Vu le General Tax Code ;
Vu le Rural Code and Maritime Fishingincluding title IV of book VI;
Vu le Decree No. 2011-1705 of 30 November 2011 modified relative to the controlled label of origin "Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh";
Considering the proposal of the national committee of the labels of origin relating to the wines and alcoholic beverages, and the waters-of-life of the National Institute of Origin and Quality as of September 11, 2014,
Decrete:
In the XII of Chapter I of the notebook of the controlled label of origin "Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh", approved by the decree of 30 November 2011 referred to aboveb and c of 2°s have been replaced by the following provisions:
“(b) The labelling of wines benefiting from the controlled label of origin can specify the name of a smaller geographical unit, subject to:
- that it is a place said cadastré;
- that it appears on the declaration of harvest;
-that the size of the letters used for the name of the placedit is less than or equal to that of the letters used for the name of the name of the name;
-that the name of the placedit appears exclusively in the same visual field as that where the mandatory mentions are grouped and is immediately below or above the name of the appellation;
(c) The labelling of wines benefiting from the controlled label of origin can specify the larger geographical unit “South-West”. The dimensions of the characters of the larger geographical unit are not superior, both in height and width, to those of the characters composing the name of the controlled label of origin. »

The Minister of Finance and Public Accounts, the Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry, spokesperson for the Government, the Minister of Economy, Industry and Digital Affairs and the Secretary of State responsible for the budget are responsible, each with regard to the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
