By order of the Minister of Agriculture, Agri-Food and Forestry dated March 7, 2014, the number of places offered for the 2014 external competition for the recruitment of senior technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture (recruitment in the rank of senior technician) is as follows:
veterinary and food specialty: 15 places;
- technical specialty and agricultural economy: 15 places, including 2 places to fill jobs in the National Agricultural and Sea Products Establishment (FranceAgriMer) and 5 places for the Service and Payment Agency;
- Forests and rural territories speciality: 4 places, including 2 places to fill jobs in the National Institute for Geographical and Forest Information (IGN).
The number of places available for the 2014 internal competition for the recruitment of senior technicians from the Ministry of Agriculture (recruitment in the rank of senior technician) is as follows:
veterinary and food specialty: 10 places;
- technical speciality and agricultural economy: 8 places, including 4 places to fill jobs within the Service and Payment Agency;
- speciality in forests and rural territories: 8 places, including 6 places to fill jobs within the National Forestry Board.
In addition, 4 places are available for disabled workers, which are as follows:
veterinary and food specialty: 2;
technical specialty and agricultural economy: 2,
and 6 places are offered for reserved jobs, which are as follows:
veterinary and food specialty: 2;
technical specialty and agricultural economy: 3;
- Speciality Forests and Rural Territories: 1.
If a qualified candidate is not registered on the suitability list established by the Minister of Defence pursuant to the provisions of the Code of Military Disability Pensions and War Victims to perform the duties of senior technicians of the department responsible for agriculture (at the rank of senior technician), the (or job(s) vacant(s) only shall be filled by meeting the priorities defined in section L. 406 of the same code and according to the procedure defined in sections R. 408 and following the same code.
In the absence of a qualified candidate to perform the duties of senior technician of the Ministry of Agriculture (at the rank of senior technician) or in the event of a refusal of the candidate, the jobs not filled under the conditions defined in section L. 406 are added to the jobs to be filled under the conditions defined in section R. 412 of the same code.
