Professional examination scheduled for examinationarticle 9 of the decree of 22 August 2012 referred to above recruitment of senior economic and industry technicians is organized in accordance with the provisions of this Order.
The professional examination referred to in section 1 shall be opened by order of the Minister for Industry under the conditions fixed by theArticle 2 of Decree No. 2004-1105 of 19 October 2004 the opening of recruitment procedures in the public service. This Order sets out the terms and conditions for the examination, the closing date of the registrations, the date of the RAEP file surrender, and any relevant details to its organization.
The number of professional examination positions is determined by order of the Minister for Industry.
The professional examination referred to in Article 1 contains two written examinations of eligibility and an oral examination of admission, of which the nature, duration and coefficients are mentioned below:

1. Drafting a summary note based on a 35-page documentary record on the main areas of the activities of the employers departments, without neglecting the relevant news. B. ― Oral Intake Test | | |
Meeting with the jury to assess the candidate's skills and motivation to work as a senior manager of the economy and industry and to recognize the achievements of his or her professional experience. To conduct this interview, which has as its starting point a presentation of the candidate's knowledge and skills and professional experience, for a maximum of ten minutes, the jury has the file constituted by the candidate for recognition of the achievements of the professional experience. This interview also includes a free exchange to assess the candidate's general knowledge. Only the interview with the jury gives rise to the rating. Each of the tests is rated from 0 to 20. Any rating less than 6 out of 20 at any of these tests is eliminated.
The jury determines, in alphabetical order, the list of candidates authorized to take part in the oral admission test.
No one may be admitted to the oral examination if he has not obtained, after applying the coefficients, a total of points fixed by the jury, and in no case may be less than 70.
At the end of the oral admission test, the jury draws, in order of merit, the list of candidates definitively admitted.
No one can be declared definitively admitted if he has not obtained for all the tests, after applying the coefficients, a total of points fixed by the jury, and which in no case can be less than 110.
If several candidates gather the same number of points, the priority is given to the one who obtained the best note in the interview with the jury.
In the event of a vote-sharing, the president's vote is preponderant.
The jury, whose members are appointed by the Minister for Industry, is composed as follows:
1° A general engineer of mines, president;
2° The Director General of Competitiveness, Industry and Services or his Representative;
3° A Category A official from the Department of Industry;
4° An employee belonging to the body of industry and mining engineers;
5° A senior manager of the economy and industry.
The decision designates the member of the jury, assuring the vice-chair, who may replace the president in the event that the president is unable to perform his duties.
In addition, qualified examiners with advisory voices may be deputy to the jury, by order of the Minister for Industry, for the preparation and correction of written examinations.
The decision of 7 April 1999, as amended by the order of 1 March 2002, relating to the organization, nature and programs of the professional examination tests for the recruitment of industry and mining technicians, is repealed.
The Director of Human Resources of the General Secretariat of Economic and Financial Ministries is responsible for the execution of this Order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

Professional Experience Recognition Record (RAEP)
Applicants must submit a standard file prepared according to a model established by the administration consisting of the following entries:
Candidate identification.
Current status of candidate (administrative, professional, etc.).
Training courses (education, vocational and continuing training).
Professional experience (main activities and skills developed)
Presentation of the achievements of the professional experience (the candidate will indicate the elements that make up the achievements of his/her professional experience and his/her strengths in terms of the knowledge, skills and abilities sought and, where applicable, his/her motivations to perform the functions of senior manager of the economy and industry).
