The professional competition under article 36 of Decree of 28 December 2001 referred to above is open by order of the Minister of health, family and disabled persons.
It was announced at least two months in advance by adding in the Official Journal of the French Republic.

The Board is appointed by Decree of the Minister of health, family and disabled persons. It includes:-the Director of hospitalization and care organization or his representative;
-the Executive Director of social welfare or his representative;
-a departmental Director of health and Social Affairs, appointed by the Minister of health, family and disabled persons;
-two members of the Executive under the body of social and medico-social facilities directors, designated by the Minister of health, family and disabled persons.
The Presidency of the jury is exercised by the Director of hospital or the organisation of care or, absent or unable to act, by a member of the Board appointed by the Minister of health, of the family and the disabled.
The secretariat is provided by Directorate of hospitalization and the Organization of care.

The competition includes the following event: A conversation, from the personal file of the candidate, with the members of the jury, of a maximum duration of 20 minutes, broken down as follows:-firstly, a presentation of the career and the motivations of the candidate (maximum: five minutes);
-Secondly, exchanges with the jury (maximum duration: 15 minutes).

It is awarded for the event, by the members of the jury, a score ranging from 0 to 20. Candidates having obtained a total of points fixed by the Board, and which cannot be less than 10, may only be declared admitted. In case of equality of points of candidates, the jury sovereignly determines the order of ranking of the candidates concerned. The Board establishes the list of candidates he declares admitted.

Applications must be sent, by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, to the Ministry of health, the family and disabled persons (Directorate of hospitalization and the Organization of care, Office P3), 8 avenue de Ségur 75350 Paris 07 SP, before the date of closing of entries. Order opening the contest sets this date.
These records include for each candidate:-a letter of application;
-a very detailed curriculum vitae;
-titles and work;
-a copy of the national identity card or of the family booklet;
-a State civil services performed;
-the copy of order charging the duties of Director or Deputy Director candidate;
-the copy of the last scale decision;
-the last three cards rating;
-three envelopes stamped and denominated in the candidate's address.

The Director of hospitalization and the Organization of care at the Ministry of health, family and disabled persons is responsible for the execution of this order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
