The Prime Minister,
On the report of the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry and the Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Rural Affairs,
Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1493/1999 of 17 May 1999 as amended bringing together the joint organization of the wine market;
Considering the general tax code;
Considering the Customs Code;
Considering the rural code;
Considering the code of consumption;
In view of the amended Decree No. 2000-848 of 1 September 2000 establishing the conditions for the production of wines of countries, as amended by Decree No. 2001-1139 of 3 December 2001 and Decree No. 2002-485 of 4 April 2002;
Considering Decree No. 2001-510 of 12 June 2001 implementing the code of consumption with regard to wines, sparkling wines, sparkling wines and liqueurs wines;
Based on the opinion of the Board of Directors of the NIVINS dated 2 July 2003,
Decrete:
It is added to the fourth paragraph of Article 1 of the decree of September 1, 2000 referred to above, after the words: "the quantities produced beyond 85 hectolitres are not vinified", the words: "and 99 hectolitres for the white wines produced from varieties also classified for the production of life-waters in the department concerned, subject to that the quantities produced beyond 90 hectified. "
At the penultimate paragraph of Article 1 of the above-mentioned decree of September 1, 2000, the words: "0.80 g/l (18 meq)" and "0.90 g/l (20 meq)" are replaced by the words: "0.88 g/l (18 meq)" and "0.98 g/l (20 meq)".
The Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, the Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Rural Affairs, the Minister Delegate for Budget and Budget Reform and the Secretary of State for Small and Medium Enterprises, Trade, Crafts, Professionals and Consumer Affairs are responsible, each with respect to it, for the execution of this decree, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
