The professional examination for access to the corps of engineers of public works of the State (equipment service) provided for in article 5-3 of the Decree of 30 May 2005 referred to above includes two tests for eligibility and an oral test for admission.
Eligibility test no. 1: Executive summary (duration: four hours; coefficient 3): the test consists of writing a note of synthesis from multiple bearing documents on a subject of General, with a view to identify the key ideas, and excluding any critical appreciation.
This test is intended to verify the understanding, analysis and synthesis of the candidate (s), their ability to distinguish between the bulk of the accessory and to express themselves clearly in correct language.
Test no. 2: technical event to options (duration: eight hours; coefficient 5): the test is, from a technical dossier provided to the (to the) candidate (e), to make a critical analysis, to design and then develop solutions (which may impose to prepare calculation notes) and to make proposals on the modalities of implementation of these solutions.
The work required will take into account all technical, socio-economic, environmental and legal constraints related to the folder which are brought to the knowledge of the candidates () or that are suggested to them by their experience.
This door event, at the choice of the candidate (s) expressed during their registration, on one of the following options:-planning, urban planning;
-building, public buildings;
-design, construction and maintenance of the road;
-design, construction and maintenance of works of art;
-water and environment;
-operation and road safety;
-habitat, urban policy;
-seaports, inland waterways;
-roads and various networks.
This test is to verify the level of technical mastery and the professional expertise of the candidate (s) in the selected option.
Admission test no. 3: interview with the jury (duration: forty minutes; coefficient 4): from a ten minute presentation of the candidate or the candidate on his career, interview with the jury will focus on knowledge specific vocational and General related to the experience of the interested (e) in different positions, on its ability to analyse its professional environment internally and externally as well as on its ability to resolve technical problems or managerial most frequently encountered by one engineer of public works of the State.
This interview is designed to assess the business value of the candidate (s) in their original body and their ability to perform the duties of engineer of public works of the State. II must assess the openness and adaptability of the candidate (e) s, their ability to respond quickly and appropriately, to negotiate and manage a team.

The scores for the different events are included between 0 and 20. Each note is multiplied by the coefficient for the corresponding event. Any score below 6 on 20 before applying the factor is eliminatory.

An order of the Minister responsible for fixed equipment the number of posts offered to the professional examination, the dates of withdrawal and deposit of the registration files. The date of the written tests is fixed by order of the Minister responsible for the equipment.

The jury, composed of at least ten members, is appointed for each session by order of the Minister responsible for the equipment. He may be assisted Correctors for the written tests and oral examiners respectively with advisory vote.
It is chaired by a general engineer of the ponts et chaussées in functions.
It includes officials and other staff in functions of the Minister of transport, equipment, tourism and the sea.

The jury lists by alphabetical order of the candidate s declared eligible for the oral test s, then the ranking list in order of merit of the candidate (e) admitted s account of the acquis to all events.
Can single (s) be authorized to attend the oral examination the candidate (s) having obtained, for the whole of the written tests, a total of points which may not be less than 80.
Can single (s) appear on the ranking list the candidates for all events a total of points which may not be less than 120.
When candidate (s) meet the same number of points at the end of the tests for admission, priority is given to that or those of them who got the number of points the highest test no. 3, then possibly the No. 1 event.
A complementary list of admission can be established by the Board.

The list of centres of examination for the written tests, the date, the place and time of the oral test are fixed by order of the Minister responsible for the equipment.

The candidate (s) allowed (es) to the professional examination must complete training.
With a duration of 4 to 6 months, the training should allow students to reinforce and complement their professional experience by inputs theoretical and applied in the fields of technical, legal, administrative and managerial constituting the basis of the engineer of public works of the State culture. It may have a common teaching to all students and teachings to option.
Lessons are organized and delivered by the National School of public works of the State. The Director of the school certifies the validation of the academic elements of the training received.

Any candidate (e) retained (e) to 1' professional examination is established (e) in the corps of engineers of public works of the State at the first level of rank of engineer of public works of the State be it (if it) meets the training track in its entirety and its validation by the Director of the National School of public works of the State. Any student who has not validated the training is maintained in his original body.
The candidate (s) shall, except as medically determined physical impossibility, follow the training opened just after their admission to the professional examination session.
In case of impossibility referred to above, the candidate (s) are permitted (e) s, way of derogation, to follow the training organized for the following professional examination session.
In the event of partial absence, it belongs to the Director of the National School of public works of the State to define the procedures for validation of the training.

The Decree of 8 July 1991 amended laying the professional examination and the course opening access to the corps of engineers of public works of the State is hereby repealed.

The Director General of personnel and 1 ' administration of the Ministry of transport, equipment, tourism and the sea is responsible for the execution of this order, which will be published in the Official Journal of the French Republic.
