The Minister of National Education,
In view of the Education Code;
In the light of Decree No. 84-573 of 5 July 1984 on national higher education diplomas;
In the light of the decree N ° 85-906 of 23 August 1985 laying down the conditions for the validation of studies, professional experience or personal acquired in view of access to the various levels of higher education, as amended by Decree No. 99-819 of 16 September 1999;
Having regard to Decree No. 99-747 of 30 August 1999 establishing the degree of master, as amended by Decree No. 2002-480 of 8 April 2002;
In the light of Decree No. 2002-481 of 8 April 2002 on university degrees and diplomas and national diplomas;
Vu Decree No. 2002-482 of 8 April 2002 applying to the French system Higher education in the construction of the European Higher Education Area;
In view of the decree of 25 April 2002 on doctoral studies;
In view of the opinion of the National Council on Higher Education and Research 4 February 2002,

  • TITLE I: GENERAL PROVISIONS Article 1


    A national diploma entitled Master's Degree of Master's
    hereby established. It shall be issued in accordance with the provisions of this Order.

    Article 2

    Article 4

    Article 6

    Article 7

  • TITLE II: SPECIFIC PROVISIONS RELATING TO UNIVERSITIES Article 9

  • TITLE III: SPECIFIC PROVISIONS ON CERTAIN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS Article 15
