By order of the Minister of State, Minister Of the interior and development of the territory, as of 22 February 2007, is authorised for the year 2007 the opening of a professional examination for access to the rank of Senior Administrative Officer of the Interior and Overseas. This examination shall be open to the Administrative Officers of the Interior and Overseas fulfilling the conditions laid down in Articles 23 and 29 of Decree No. 2005-1215 of 26 September 2005 and Article 9 of Decree No. 2006-1779 of 23 December 2006
Total number of positions offered for professional examination will be determined at a later date by ministerial order.
The closing date for registration is March 24, 2007 inclusive, term of thoroughness (the postmark). Applicants must submit, by post only, their registration file under the following conditions:
-for officers whose administrative management is under the direction of the National Police Administration (DAPN):
- In the prefecture of examination of their choice if they are on duty in the services of the national police (excluding central administration);
-the Ministry of Interior and Spatial Planning (MIAT, SG/DRH/SDRF/BRPP, Section of the Administrative competitions), 27, Petites-Ecuries course, 77185 Lognes, if they are in operation in the central services of the MIAT;
-for the officers whose administrative management is the responsibility of the general secretariat:
-to the prefecture Depend on whether they are in office in prefecture, sub-prefecture and administrative jurisdiction (outside the administrative courts of Paris);
-the Ministry of Interior and Spatial Planning (MIAT, SG/DRH/SDRF/BRPP, Section of the Administrative competitions), 27, Course des Petites-Ecuries, 77185 Lognes, if they are in office in the central services of the MIAT, the Overseas Ministry and the administrative courts of Paris;
-for all other situations, at the The review center of their choice.
Any incomplete or misinformed folder will be rejected.

-in the 45 examination centres listed above if they are in office in prefecture, sub-prefecture and administrative jurisdiction (excluding administrative courts Parisian);
-in Arcueil (Val-de-Marne) if they are in office in the central departments of the Ministry of Interior and Spatial Planning, the Overseas Ministry and the administrative courts in Paris, in Toulon for Officers of the pension office of Draguignan and Agen for the agents of the central service of the returnees.
The oral admission test will take place in the Paris region (Lognes, Seine-et-Marne).
