Notice to importers of certain industrial and agricultural products eligible for Community tariff quotas with reduced or zero duty (autonomous quotas)

The attention of importers is called on the Publication in the Official Journal of the European Union n ° L 39/2004 of Regulation (EC) No 226/04 amending the provisions of Regulation (EC) No 2505/96 (OJ No L 345/96) as follows:
I.-The initial volume of the open tariff quotas of 1 January to December 31, 2003 (*) under serial numbers 09.2979 and 09.2985 is increased to 800,000 and 600,000 units respectively under this quota period.
The initial volume of the tariff quota opened from July 1 to December 31 2003 (*) under the order number 09.2935 is increased to 90,000 tonnes under this quota period.
II. -The reduced or zero-duty tariff quotas with retroactive effect as from 1 January 2004 or, as the case may be, from 1 July 2004, its annex to the present opinion.
