In accordance with the decision of the Council of State, police law (872/2011) Chapter 9 Article 10 (1):

Police officers
ARTICLE 1

The police officers are:

(1) officers include:

Functional relationships
ARTICLE 2

Police chief of police and police officers are all police officers of the police.

ARTICLE 3

Local police chief of staff is the chief of police. The head of staff of the national unit is the chief.

§ 4

The local police situation or management centre is a general manager responsible for the management of operational field operations. The General Director of the Executive Centre may consist of several police departments.

The General Director shall be the foreman of the operational field in the operational field. For the purposes of the urgent police investigation, the General Director may give orders for police personnel throughout their territory.

The general manager of a single police task shall be the foreman of the staff who carry out the task.

§ 5

The head of the local police field office shall be responsible for the operational management of field operations in the area under the authority of the general manager.

The field manager, with the exception of the officers, shall be the manager of those working in the operational field in the field of activity. The field manager is responsible for carrying out the duties of the police in its territory.

ARTICLE 6

The police officer assigned to the operational unit of the local police or the national police unit shall be the head of the police officers acting under his authority.

The performance of the individual police task is the situation manager. The administrator is the foreman of the staff who carry out the task.

§ 7

In addition, operational relations between the police, the police cooperation area, the police headquarters, the police unit of the local police and the national police unit, or the Rules of Procedure, may also be provided for.

In particular, in the case of the whole country, and in the case of staff of the local police department, the Police Commissioner may decide on temporary police staff relations in a manner appropriate to the situation.

§ 8

A police officer assigned to the leadership of the police is led by a police officer, who will be led by the police, until otherwise specified. Under Article 2, the police officer, as prescribed by the Police Board, shall be the chief officer of all police officers until a decision is taken otherwise.

Under the authority of the officers referred to in paragraph 1, a police officer assigned to the national police unit shall be the head of the staff of the department concerned until a decision is taken otherwise.

§ 9

In the event of a police situation moving in the direction of the pursuit of a person or for any other reason in the police department, the police force is led by the police department, which has first taken action until a decision is taken otherwise.

Use and protection instruments
ARTICLE 10

The State will equip the police with the use of force and protection equipment. ARTICLE 11

The police officer has a badge approved by the police.

An identity card issued by the police may be issued to other police officers.

ARTICLE 12

ARTICLE 13

Police ships are using a statesman.

The special characters of the police are the miniature flags and banners with the police's signature or police writing or both. Such vires or miniature tickets may also be used in police vehicles.

ARTICLE 14

§ 15

The police authorities may, on application, grant police officers and their associations permission for private use.

Entry into force
ARTICLE 16

This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 January 2014.

This Regulation repeals the police regulation (19/05/1995) And the Regulation on flags and banners for the identification of the police and its vehicles (234/1952) .
