In accordance with the decision of the Parliament:

ARTICLE 1

On the National Representative's Pensions and Adaptation Act (329/1967) (1) After the death of the person referred to in paragraph 1, the survivor's pension shall be carried out on the basis of the State resources, mutatis mutandis, according to the same provisions as those provided for by the State, unless otherwise specified below. The completion of the survivor's pension is conditional on the fact that the person referred to in paragraph 1, the deceased, was entitled to a pension under the Law of 20 August 1948 (18/48) Or the Penal Act of 14 July 1967 (13,29) Or that he received it.

In the case of the coordination of the survivor's pension under this law, the coordination criteria shall be valid, as provided for in Article 8 of the Act on the Pensions and Adjustment of the National Assembly.

ARTICLE 3

There is a special reason for granting an extra pension to the surviving spouse and children. The amount of the supplementary pension and the survivor's pension under this Act shall not exceed the maximum amount of the pension under this Act.

An additional pension is granted on application by the Permanent Representation of the Parliament.

In the case of an additional pension, where applicable, the additional State pensions shall be respected.

The family pension cover is provided by a municipal pension institution.

§ 5

More detailed provisions on the application of this law may be adopted by a regulation.

ARTICLE 6

This Act shall enter into force on 1 July 1990. This law repeals the Family Realm Act of 31 December 1968. (791/68) With its subsequent modifications.

Where the deceased is dead before the entry into force of this Act, the former law shall apply. The previous law must also apply in the cases provided for in Articles 18 and 19 of the Family Pensions Act of 31 December 1968. However, the survivor's pension, which is paid before the entry into force of the law, does not cease even if the widow/widower has a new marriage after the age of 50.

State family pension law (774/68) Is also carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 14 July 1967 relating to the survivor's pension (30/67) , after the deceased person who died after the entry into force of this Act.

Entry into force and application of amending acts:

3.9.2004:

This Act shall enter into force on 1 January 2005. If, at the time of the entry into force of this Act, the former representative is entitled to a pension in accordance with the provisions in force before 1 January 2005, a survivor's pension to be carried out by a Member or a member of the State Council, However, the provisions in force at the time of entry into force of this Act shall apply.
