DECREE N ° 563
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING: I.-That by Legislative Decree No. 682, dated December 19, 2001,
published in Official Journal No 241, Volume N ° 353, 20 of the same month and year, was authorized to the Executive Body in the Ramo de Hacienda to consolidate and convert into a single debt the obligations of the Government of the Republic of El Salvador with the Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador, as at 31 December 2001.
II.-That with that purpose was authorized the issuance of bonds, for a total amount of
up to SEVEN HUNDRED AND FOUR MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USD 704,400,000.00) to meet that commitment This amount was unbundled in three series, as follows: Series "A" per HUNDRED AND FIFTY MILLION U.S. DOLLARS FROM AMERICA (US$ 150,000,000.00) to 15 years, due on December 31, 2016; Series "B" for HUNDRED MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$ 200,000,000.00), to 20 years, with maturity on 31 December 2021 and Series "C" for THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY-FOUR MILLION FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USD 354,400,000.00) to 30 years, due on 31 December 2031.
III.-That the Series "A" BILLION DOLLARS

Ad) Bond deadlines, will be: Series AA "to thirty (30) years, Series" B "to twenty (20) years
and Series" C " to thirty (30) years, as of January 1, 2002. @ Art. 2.-The Central Reserve Bank of El Salvador and the Ministry of Finance, for
that can modify all that documentation that is necessary to extend the maturity of the bonds classified as A series, as well as to allow those institutions to carry out the budgetary, economic, accounting, legal and financial operations relevant to the achievement of that purpose.
Art. 3.-By the nature of the obligations contained in this Decree and in order to comply with the formalities contained in Article 148 of the Constitution of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of the Republic of Mexico, Decree, in terms of the same slogan.
Art. 4.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
