DECREE NO 58
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
WHEREAS:
I. That the existing delimitation between the municipalities that comprise the Department of Freedom does not conform to the present development of the technology in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor does it conform to the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
II. That with the registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Registry Center; it is possible to carry out a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.
III. That a process of dialogue has developed between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Registry Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus reaching out to the elaboration and signature of the Acta de The FREEDOM-HOLY KEY with reference No. 0509-0511, which is taken as the basis for the content of this decree and annexed as an integral part of it.
IV. That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of territorial limits.
V. That according to Art. 131 ordinal 5th of the Constitution it is the competence of this First State Authority to decree, to interpret authentically, to reform and to repeal secondary laws.

DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of La Libertad and Santa Tecla both of the Department of Liberty, the following:
The trace of the municipal limit consists of three commutes: the first one formed of a single section, determined with two numbered points of one to two, by the river Comasagua; the second formed of four sections, determined with five points numbered from two to six, by line of plots; the third formed of a section, determined with two numbered points of the six to seven, by way of terrestrial communication called street that of the Conchalio river leads to the hamlet San Antonio Chilama.
Starting Trifinium Point: It is defined in the extension of the property line of the plots one hundred

Its coordinates are: Length equal four hundred and sixty six thousand twenty point thirteen meters; Latitude equal two hundred and sixty-eight thousand eight hundred and fifty point forty meters; their adjoining are, for the municipality of Liberty: plot six hundred and twenty-six of the sector zero five zero R zero two; for the municipality of Santa Tecla: plots fifty-one, three hundred one, one hundred and seventy, one hundred and sixty-nine, all of the sector zero five eleven R fourteen.
Trifinium point of arrival: The point of arrival will be the one described as number seven, which at the same time is a point trifinium for the municipalities of Santa Tecla, La Libertad and Zaragoza; their adjacent ones are for the municipality of Santa Tecla: plots one hundred and seventy, one hundred and sixty-nine, both of the sector zero five eleven R fourteen; for the municipality of La Libertad: Six hundred and twenty-six of the sector zero five zero R zero two; for the municipality of Zaragoza: plot seven hundred and fifty-seven of the sector zero five twenty-two R zero four.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
