1 index Legislative Decree Nº 21 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-who dated on December 21, 2010, the Ministers of education and Agriculture and livestock signed a cooperation agreement to finance the Presidential glass of milk program, with the aim of providing the consumption of milk in the school population urban and rural , at the levels of preschool and basic in the departments of Ahuachapán, Sonsonate, Santa Ana and La Libertad and that for the year 2012 has expanded coverage to the departments of La Paz, San Vicente and Chalatenango.
II.-that the Presidential glass of milk program is executed by the education sector, whose cost for the present fiscal year of 2012 is US $ 3,803,477.21, of which US$ 2,803,477.21, will be financed with assignments in the field of education and the difference of US$ 1,000,000.00, with assignments in the field of agriculture and livestock; of this latter amount, US$ 300,000 will be executed by the industry for the acquisition of 10 coolant tanks and 2 tankers, and the difference for US$ 700,000, will be moved to the field of education.
III.-that to effect compliance with one of the priorities of the current Government such as combating child malnutrition in 532 schools, through the implementation of the Presidential glass of milk program from the field of education, it is necessary to provide that Ministry of resources that will provide the agriculture and livestock industry in the amount of US$ 700,000 for which is required to modify allocations approved of both ministries, listed in the law on budget for 2012 approved by Decree legislative Nr. 918, date November 23, 2011, published in Official Journal No. 236, volume no. 393 dated 16 December of that same year.
Therefore, in exercise of their powers and on the initiative of the President of the Republic through the Minister of finance.
DECREES: Article 1.-applicable law of budget, section to "GENERAL of the State budget", in the section III-expenses, introduces the following modification: to) that corresponds to the field of education, increase the allocations of the budget 05 education basic unit, line of work 01 attention to 2 index legislative basic education in the amount of $700,000, in the following manner : B. It includes $36,000,000 for finance package school according to opinion No. 337 of date November 23, 2011 the Commission of finance and special of the budget in the Legislative Assembly.
