1 index Legislative Decree No. 152 LA Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that the article 144 of the Constitution establishes that international treaties concluded by El Salvador with other States or international organizations, constitute laws of the Republic to enter into force, in accordance with the provisions of the Treaty itself and of the Constitution.
II.-that the Central American Convention for the protection of the Cultural heritage, ratified by Decree legislative No. 593, dated 29 January 1996, published in the Official Journal No. 33, taking no. 330, dated 16 February of the same year, in his seventh, Roman article III, States that Cultural heritage alive is "represented by individuals and institutions for outstanding career and social importance ", as well as for communities, fraternities, languages and customs".
III.-that the Symphony Orchestra of El Salvador, has a history of 90 years, being part of the oldest symphony orchestras in Latin America, having an important social significance within the development of the musical Arts in our country's past and present history, under which is appropriate, given the category of "heritage CULTURAL live of EL SALVADOR".

Decree: Article 1.-declare the Symphony Orchestra of El Salvador, "heritage CULTURAL live of EL SALVADOR", under their contribution to our country's cultural wealth.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
