DECREE No. 409 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I. That the Legislative Plenary accepted on 26 of this month, the resignation filed by attorney Marcos Gregorio Sanchez Trejo, the President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic, who introduced in order to resolve impasse sparked by his election, stating, in turn, is ready to accept a new election to the office, if you had so kindly Legislative plenary generating this resignation, a vacancy in the office of President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic;
II.- That pursuant to the provisions of Art.131, paragraph 19, of the Constitution, is the exclusive responsibility of this Assembly, to elect the President and Judges of the Court of Accounts of the Republic;
III.- That the Constitution, in Article 198, establishes as sole requirements for the performance of the offices of President and Judges of the Court of Auditors must be Salvadoran by birth, over thirty years old, honesty and notorious competition; be in the exercise of the rights of citizens and have been in the three years preceding his election;

ARTICLE 2

SINGLE.- Elígese the President of the Court of Accounts of the Republic, the Attorney Marcos Gregorio Sanchez Trejo, to end the period ending 28 June 2014.
