THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.- That by Legislative Decree No. 150, dated October 2, 2003, published in Official Journal No. 198, Volume No. 361, of October 24 of the same year, was declared for a period of 3 years, exempt from payment of all kinds of taxes, including the municipalities that could cause the presentations made by Salvadoran musical sets and artists in their different specialties, according to table established in the same.

II.- That the decree was issued in the wake of the economic crisis in which national artists are going through, a situation that demotivates them to continue to develop, and therefore it was necessary to grant them tax incentives in order to contribute to their strengthening.

IV.- That the economic crisis through which the aforementioned musical groups and Salvadoran artists still persist, and because the maturity of this fiscal incentive is near, it is advisable to extend for two more years the effects established in the Legislative Decree No. 150 referred to in the first consideration of this Decree.

TANTO,
