THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF THE SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I. That by Executive Decree No. 18, dated 1 February 2013, published in Official Journal No.

24, Volume No. 398 of 5 of the same month and year, the Executive Body issued the Savings Policy and

Public Sector Austerity 2013, in order to optimize the use of the resources available in fiscal year 2013 and also contribute to reducing the fiscal deficit to finance

without affecting the Government ' s main objectives and national priorities, the implementation of which has enabled various public sector institutions to generate savings in the amount

(US$16,080,727)

II. In accordance with the provisions of Art. 226 of the Constitution of the Republic, the Executive Body in the corresponding Ramo, shall have the management of public finances and shall be

especially obliged to maintain the balance of the Budget, as far as it is compatible with the fulfilment of the purposes of the State, for which the Treasury Ramo proposes the measures

necessary for their achievement;

III. Priority and inescapable needs have been identified in the areas of citizen security and

social development, which due to the plight of public finances do not have budgetary allocation for the last quarter of the year 2013 and which can be met with resources in

reference; therefore it is necessary to amend the current Budget Law, voted by Legislative Decree No. 182, dated 8 November 2012, published in Official Gazette No. 228, Volume No.

397, of 5 December of the same year, making a transfer between budget allocations

of different Ramos and entities of the Central Government, for the amount of DIECISES MILLONES OCHENTA MIL SETECIENTS VEINTISIETE 00/100 OLARES OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

(US$16,080,727).

in the use of its constitutional powers and at the initiative of the President of the Republic,

RIGHT:

Art. 1.- In the current Budget Law, Section -A GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE,

introduce the following modifications:

A) In section III – GASTOS, it is reinforced with an amount of $16,080,727, the allocations of different
