1 Decree No. 655 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that the Rotary Club of Santa Tecla, is an apolitical, non-profit, non -religious entity whose objectives are aimed to encourage and foster the ideal of service within the community in general, as a basis for undertaking worthy.
II.-that for the achievement of its objectives, be introduced to the country a (1) vehicle that will be raffled to raise money to fund projects for the benefit of the community.
III.-that in accordance with the powers as this Legislative Assembly gives the Constitution of the Republic, is exempt from the payment of taxes, including warehousing, that may cause the introduction to the country of the aforementioned automotive, as well as the drawing of the same.
Therefore, use of his constitutional powers and initiative of the MEP Mariela Pena Pinto and Deputy Eduardo Enrique Barrientos Zepeda.
Decree: Article 1.-exempt to the Rotary Club of Santa Tecla, of paying taxes, including warehousing, with the exception of tax on the transfer of movable property and to the provision of services (VAT), which can cause the introduction to the country of one (1) vehicle, as well as the same raffle, which is of the following features: brand: BMW; model: 316i; class: Auto; number of chassis engraving: WBA3A1102EJ609586; engine number: B067J578; color: dark grey; fuel: petrol; capacity: 5 seats; year: 2014.
Granted exemption, is without prejudice to the surveillance and control that the respective tax agencies shall exercise. Also, the representatives of the mentioned Club shall submit to this Assembly within 30 days after the event, a report duly signed and stamped by a responsible auditor, on revenues earned and the distribution thereof.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the official journal.
