DECREE No. 734 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I. That the Seventeenth Meeting of the General Assembly of the World Tourism Organization ( OMT), held in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia from 23 to 29 November 2007, the amendment was adopted to Art. 38 of the Statutes of the WTO.
II the instrument referred to in previous paragraph to has been approved by Executive Agreement No. 740/2014, of May 22, 2014, and submitted for consideration by the Legislature for ratification.
III.- That the aforementioned Amendment does not contain any provision contrary to the Constitution, being from ratification.
THEREFORE,
in use of the power provided for in Art. 131, ordinal 7 of the Constitution in conjunction with Art. 168, ordinal 4 of the same, and initiative of the President of the Republic, period 2009-2014, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs. DECREES
:
Art. 1. is ratified in all parts of the Amendment to Art. 38 of the Statutes of the World Tourism Organization (OMT), adopted by the General Assembly of the WTO at its seventeenth meeting in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, 23 to 29 November 2007; approved by the Executive Branch, through Agreement No. 740/2014 of 22 May 2014
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
