DECREE NO 823
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the Church of Jesus Christ, the Aposto Church, is an entity of particular and religious interest, whose objectives, among others, are to spread the knowledge of the gospel through the Bible, based on its principles, as well as maintaining the norms of holiness and the ethical, moral and spiritual principles of our faith
II.-That for the achievement of their objectives they will introduce to the country a vehicle that has been donated to them, which will be used for the pastoral works that the church performs.
III. The Legislative Assembly confers on it the Constitution of the Republic, it is appropriate to exonerate the payment of taxes, including bodegaje, that can cause the introduction to the country of the cited vehicle.

in use of its faculties Constitutional and at the initiative of Deputies Misael Mejia Mejia and Rolando Mata Fuentes.
DECRETA:
Art. 1.-The Church of Jesus Christ, the Church of Jesus Christ, should be exempt from the payment of taxes, including with the exception of the Tax on the Transfer of Furniture and Services (VAT), which may cause the introduction to the country of a vehicle, which is of the following characteristics: Brand: Nissan, class: automobile; type: Pathfinder; color: gray; year: 2010; chassis number vin: 5N1AR1NB9AC601039: fuel: gasoline, which will be used for the pastoral work performed by that church.
The vehicle being introduced covered by this Decree, may not be transferred to third parties.
The exemption granted is without prejudice to the supervision and control to be exercised by the respective tax agencies.
Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
