DECREE NO 817

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That on May 12, 2014, the Basic Convention on Technical and Scientific Cooperation, Educational and Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of El Salvador and the Government of the Republic of Guatemala was signed.

II. That the Instrument referred to in the previous recital has been approved by Executive Agreement N ° 990/2014, of July 1, 2014, and submitted to the Legislative Assembly for its ratification.

III.-That the Convention referred to above does not contain any provision contrary to the Constitution, its ratification being appropriate.

FOR TANTO,

in use of the power established in Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution in relation to Art. 168, Ordinary 4th of it, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Deputy Minister of Relations External, Integration and Economic Promotion, in charge of dispatch.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-The Basic Convention on Technical and Scientific Cooperation, Educational and Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of El Salvador and the Government of the Republic of Guatemala, signed on May 12 of the current year, is ratified in all its parts; and approved by the Executive Body in the Ramo de Relaciones Exteriores, by Agreement N ° 990/2014 of 1 July 2014.

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
