DECREE No. 902 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
I.- by Legislative Decree No. 529, dated January 13, 1999 published in the Official Journal No. 23, Volume No. 342, 3 February of the same year, the Customs simplification Act was issued in order to establish the basic legal framework for the adoption of mechanisms for simplification, facilitation and control of customs operations through the use of automatic information exchange.
II.- by Legislative Decree No. 23, dated June 7, 2012, published in the Official Gazette No. 123, Volume No. 396, July 4 of that year, the Law was amended referred to in the previous paragraph, in order to modernize customs and allow the customs service to access to appropriate technology, which will facilitate the interaction and integration of the participants in the supply chain, by applying inspection services nonintrusive.
III.- in order to facilitate operations under the customs regime of international land transit goods shall not be subject to a customs procedure in our country, it is necessary to exclude those operations from payment of the levy introduced Article 12-B of the Customs Simplification Act.

Art. 1. hereby added a clause to Article 12-B as well.
"They will be excluded from payment referred to in this article, goods in transit not have as origin or destination of the country."
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
