DECREE No. 845 THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
I.- accordance with Article 131, Ordinal 22 of the Constitution of the Republic is empowered to grant the State Authority to individuals or populations, titles, honors and rewards compatible with the form of government established by relevant services to the country.
That Act II honors, Awards and Titles, in its Article 6 letter "a", states that the distinctions of "meritorious Son or Daughter of El Salvador" will be awarded to the Salvadoran people engaged or have engaged in the practice of humanitarian and altruistic activities, or for their significant contributions to human knowledge or services, in such a way that such contribution represents a national, regional or universal benefit.
III.- Dr. Victor Jorge Saca Tueme, was born in the city of Chalatenango, on November 14, 1941, and holds a PhD in Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of El Salvador, as well as other qualifications obtained outside the country, knowledge that has been serving all Salvadorans, and especially the people of his native Chalatenango. IV
What also highlights altruism and generosity that guide their business and professional work, strengthening their desire to build a more humane society, whose base is solidarity and respect for the rights of all people, especially , of the most vulnerable sectors of the country in projects of social inclusion, drug-free life, and care for migrants, among others.
V. That is important to note his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in the country in 2011, receiving honorary distinction to be selected to form part of the book: "The hundred stories ever wanted to know"; highlighting in turn, the support from their companies provides the development of the arts, music, philosophy and customs of the country, including activities for the benefit of culture, through cooperation with various organizations, such as Association PRO-ART Organization New Acropolis Museum of Art of El Salvador (MARTE), and Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.
VI.- By virtue of the aforementioned merits, it is appropriate to grant Dr. Victor Jorge Saca Tueme, the Honorable Distinction "Meritísimo Son of El Salvador", in recognition of his outstanding and selfless, cultural and business commendable work dedicated to the service of the Salvadoran population.

Art. 1. hereby declared Dr. Victor Jorge Saca Tueme, "Meritísimo Son of El Salvador", in recognition of his outstanding and commendable altruistic, cultural and business work, dedicated to the service of the Salvadoran population.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
