DECREE NO 845

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Authority to grant to persons or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and compatible gratifications with the form of government established, for relevant services provided to the Homeland.

II.- That the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, in its Article 6 literal "a", establishes that the distinctions of "Son or the Meritisima Daughter of El Salvador" will be awarded to the Salvadoran people who dedicate themselves or have dedicated themselves to the practice of humanitarian and altruistic activities, or for their transcendental contributions or services to human knowledge, in such a way that such contribution represents a national, regional or universal benefit.

III. Jorge Saca Tueme, was born in the City of Chalatenango, on November 14, 1941, and holds a Doctorate in Chemistry and Pharmacy of the University of El Salvador, as well as other titles obtained outside the country, knowledge that has put the service of all Salvadorans and Salvadorans, and mainly the inhabitants of his native Chalatenango.

IV.-That also highlights the altruism and generosity that guides his business and professional work, strengthening his desire to build a more humane society, the base of which is solidarity and respect for the rights of all people, in of the most vulnerable sectors of the country in social inclusion projects, drug-free life, and attention to migrants, among others.

V.-That it is important to highlight his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in the country in 2011, receiving Honorific Distinction when selected to be part of the book: " The One hundred stories I always wanted to know "; highlighting in turn, the support that from their companies provides for the development of the arts, music, philosophy and customs of the country, which includes activities for the benefit of culture, through cooperation with various entities, such as Association PRO-ARTE, New Acropolis Organization, Museum of Art "El Salvador (MARTE), and Youth Symphony Orchestra, among others.

VI.-That by virtue of the merits mentioned above, it is appropriate to grant to the Doctor Victor Jorge Saca Tueme, the Honorific Distinction of" The Most Merit of El Salvador ", in recognition of their outstanding and laudable altruistic, cultural and entrepreneurial work, dedicated to the service of the Salvadoran population.

in use of its Constitutional powers and on the initiative of the Deputies: Othon S igfrido Reyes Morales, Enrique Alberto Luis Valdés Soto, José Francisco Merino López, Carlos Armando Reyes Ramos, Manuel Vicente Menjívar Esquivel and Francisco José Zablah Safie; and with the support of the Diputados and the Deputies: José Antonio Almendariz Rivas, José Vidal Carrillo Delgado, Ana Vilma Castro de Cabrera, Omar Arturo Escobar Oviedo, Cesar Humberto Garcia Aguilera, Melvin David Gonzalez Bonilla, Carlos Walter Guzman Coto, Reynaldo Antonio Lopez Cardoza, Juan Carlos Mendoza Portillo, Jose Gabriel Murillo Duarte, Rodolfo Antonio Parker Soto, Guadalupe Antonio Vazquez Martinez, Ciro Alexis Zepeda Menjivar.

DECRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare the Doctor Victor Jorge Saca Tueme, "Son of El Salvador," in recognition of his outstanding and laudable altruistic, cultural and entrepreneurial work, dedicated to the service of the Salvadoran population.

Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
