DECREE NO 883

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Body, to grant to persons or populations, titles, honorary distinctions and compatible gratifications with the form of government established.

II.-That the City of Polaros, Municipality of Department of The Union, received the Title of City by Legislative Decree No. 261, dated January 10, 2013, published in the Official Journal No. 28, Volume No. 398, dated February 11, 2013, as a result of the remarkable progress that in the

III.-That the City of Polandos, has a deep and important historical and cultural legacy for the Salvadoran people, on December 12, the second anniversary of having obtained the title of the City, which is why it is appropriate for this State Authority to contribute to such a celebration, symbolically declaring to the City of Polores, Municipality of the Department of the Union, "Capital of the Republic of El Salvador for a Day".

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-declare, symbolically "CAPITAL OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR FOR ONE DAY", to the City of Polandos, Municipality of the Department of the Union, on December 12, two thousand fourteen, on the occasion of the commemoration of the second anniversary of the obtaining City Title.
