DECREE NO 912
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That by Legislative Decree No. 522 dated October 31, 2013, published in Official Journal No. 225, Volume No. 401 of December 2 of the same year, the Budget Law for Financial Exercise was voted on. Fiscal 2014, worth FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND SEVENTY NINE MILLION FIVE HUNDRED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED SEVENTY 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$4,679,517,670.00).
II.-That by Legislative Decree No. 793, dated September 4, 2014, published in Official Journal No. 166, Volume No. 404, 9 of the same month and year, passed the Transitional Law to Facilitate the Voluntary Compliance of Obligations Tax and customs, with the purpose of granting a three-month period to the taxable persons of the taxes administered by the Directorate General of Internal Revenue and the Directorate General of Customs, to pay the taxes (a) original or supplementary payments due to the Republic of the Republic, or which has declared a balance in favour of the the amount higher than the amount legally belonging to you, corresponding to prior periods or periods, the date or time of which the declaration has expired or the filing has expired prior to the date of entry into force of the said Law.
III.-That the application of the aforementioned Transitional Law has generated additional resources in different sources of income, which were not considered in the estimates of the current Law of the Budget, so by Legislative Decree No 833, dated 30 October 2014, published in Official Journal No 203, Volume No 405, 31 of the same day month and year, resources were incorporated for US$ 5,172,738.00, in order to address some basic needs in Public Sector Institutions that did not have the respective financing.
IV. According to reports issued by the General Directorate of the Treasury, they amount to SIX MILLION FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$6,431,810.00); in addition, there are additional demands for resources in some Public Sector Institutions
V.-That with the purpose of making use of the additional income and addressing some priority needs that do not have adequate funding, it becomes indispensable. amend the current Budget Law of 2014, in order to incorporate in Section II-REVENUE, the amount of SIX MILLION FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED TEN 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$6,431,810.00) and in the Section III-

EXPENSES, in the part corresponding to the National Defense Ramo, is added the amount of SEIS FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED AND TEN 00/100 DOLLARS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (US$6,431,810.00).

in use of its Constitutional powers and on the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance.

Art. 1.-In the current Budget Law, Section-A GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, the following modifications are introduced:
