DECREE NO 965
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That dated December 19, 2002, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs
and of the Economy signed a Coordination Convention between the two Ministries, regarding the reinforcement in the management of the Republic of El Salvador to the World Trade Organization, WTO and the World Organization of
Intellectual Property, WIPO, in Geneva, Switzerland.
II.-That in accordance with the number 14, first paragraph of the said Convention, is
established that the operating expenses of the Permanent Mission of El Salvador in Geneva, Switzerland, they would be divided and covered by both Ministries, according to a previously defined table of expenses and that the contribution of the Ramo
of Economy will be transferred to the Ramo of Foreign Relations, in order for it to transfer these resources to the Permanent Mission in Geneva, Switzerland.
III.-That it is necessary that the Permanent Mission of our Geneva-based country,
Switzerland, may have the necessary resources to continue its management of the bilateral, regional and multilateral trade negotiations aimed at the adoption of legal instruments
improve the conditions of access for Salvadoran exports of goods and services that help to bring to the country increasing flows of investment and technology.
IV. External resources necessary for the functioning of the Permanent Mission of our country with
headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, during the current financial year 2015, it is necessary to incorporate the reforms corresponding to the budget approved by Legislative Decree No. 866, dated November 20, 2014,
published in Official Journal No. 229, Tomo No. 405, of December 8 of the same year.

in use of its Constitutional powers and on the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance.
DECRETA:
Art. 1.-In the current Budget Law, Section -A GENERAL BUDGET OF THE STATE, in Section III-EXPENSES, the following modifications are introduced:

2. The resources to finance this modification will be taken from the Economy, Unit
Budget 02 Trade Policy and Administration of Treaties, Working Line 03 Representation to the WTO and WIPO, from the Rubro 54 Procurement of Goods and Services, the amount of $21,192 and the Rubro 55 Financial and Other expenses, the amount of $1,260, financed with the
General Fund.
Art. 2.-This Decree shall enter into force from the day of its publication in the Official Journal.
