DECREE NO 971
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities that comprise the
Department of Usulutan, does not conform to the present development of the technology in the registry and of territorial measurement; nor to the
II.-What with the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
The registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Records Center; it is possible to perform a
delimitation and precise demarcation of these limits.
III. The process of dialogue between the municipalities
involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Geographic Institute and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Municipal Limit Act SAN FRANCISCO JAVIER-TECAPAN with reference N ° 1119-1122, which is taken as the basis for the content of
this Decree and annexed as an integral part of it.
IV.-That pursuant to Art. 131 Ordinary 5 ° of the Constitution it is the competence of
this Authority of the State to decree, to interpret authentically, to reform and to repeal Secondary Laws.

in use of its Constitutional powers and at the initiative of Deputies Carlos Cortez Hernández,
Mario Eduardo Valiente Ortiz, Nery Arely Díaz Aguilar, Guadalupe Antonio Vásquez Martínez and del ex Deputy Erik Mira Bonilla.
DECCRETA:
Art. 1.-It is set as the Limit between the Municipalities of San Francisco Javier and Tecapán both
of the Department of Usulutan, the following:
The stroke of the limit is formed by nine commutes. The first journey consisting of a single
section, determined with two points, numbered one to two, per natural hydrographic element; the second journey consisting of a single section, determined with two points, numbered two to three, per parcel lines; the third journey consisting of a single section, determined with two points,
numbered three to four per natural hydrographic element; the fourth journey consisting of a single section, determined with two points, numbered of four to five, per line of plots; the fifth journey made up of a single tranche, determined with two points, numbered from five to six, by land communication; the sixth journey consisting of a single tranche, determined with two points,

numbered from six to seven, by plot lines; the seventh journey made up of a only section, determined with two points, numbered from seven to eight, by land communication; the eighth
journey made up of two sections, determined with three points, numbered from eight to ten, by line of plots; the ninth and the last journey consisting of a single section, determined with two points, numbered of ten to eleven, by way of terrestrial communication.
The measurement of the coordinates corresponding to the longitude and latitude of each of the points that make up the limit, has been carried out on the cadastral information of the old system, because
in the Eastern zone, specifically the Department of Usulutan, the update of the cadastral base has not yet been performed.
Triphinium start point. With course Southwest, in sinuous line, by the central axis of the Quebrada La Casona, downstream, to intercept the extension of the south-west line of the plot one hundred and sixty-seven, of the cadastral leaf four hundred and sixty-two twelve
five hundred one, place where the number two is located, with a distance of approximately seven hundred and sixty-nine point twenty-seven meters.
