1. Decree No. 982 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that article 53 of the Constitution of the Republic establishes that the right to education and culture is inherent in the human person; as a result, is obligation and purpose primary of the state its conservation, promotion and broadcasting.
II. Likewise, article 51 of the special law of protection of the Cultural patrimony of El Salvador, establishing cultural property to be recognized by means of legislative decree, Executive Decree or internal Ministry resolution as the case may be. The legislature will be recognized by Decree the quality of national monument; from the historic centre; Area, area, site, place, joint Cultural or historical. He well Cultural will be recognized in the form prescribed in this Act and its regulations.

IV.-that the perimeter referred to in the previous recital, meets the legal requirements to be declared "Historic site", that on the basis of the technical assessment made, featuring essential requirements such as the values of antiquity, historical and symbolic, as a place in which an event of importance for the history of the country, was held as the memorable battle of Gualcho waged by General Francisco Morazán, being from this statement as a measure granted the protection of the rule of law to such an important area.

Section three southbound north sixty-six degrees 16 minutes 58 seconds West twenty-three meters and eighty centimeters away. Section four southbound South forty-six degrees forty-six minutes thirty-seven seconds West twenty-three meters and fifty centimeters away. Section five southbound South sixty four degrees fifty minutes and forty-nine seconds West thirty-nine meters 15 centimeters distance bordering on this stretch land of Madam Roselia Herrera dirt road to the river and the Lord Kelvin Edenilson Amaya.
