1. Decree No. 28 the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of EL SALVADOR, considering: I.-that in accordance with article 131, paragraph 11 of the Constitution, is Faculty of this Decree Legislative Assembly, generally, benefits and tax incentives or of any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial, or other.
II.-that the Constitution in its article 117, declared as of social environmental protection and establishes as a duty of the State, protect natural resources, as well as the diversity and integrity of the environment, to ensure sustainable development.
III.-that the "biosphere reserves" of El Salvador and the "biological corridors", constitute a natural heritage, whose fundamental importance lies in ensuring goods and natural resources that sustain life in all its forms.
IV.-that the citizenship and organized sectors of the country, need to be sensitized and involved in processes of education and environmental culture for an adequate sustainable development of El Salvador, by what is coming declare June 29 of each year as "day national of the reserves of biosphere and the runners biological of El Salvador", as a way to raise awareness among citizens and sectors of the country on the importance of the protected natural Areas that constitute the heritage nature of the Salvadoran State.

2 DECREES: Article 1.-on 29 June every year, declared as "day national of the reserves of biosphere and the runners biological of El Salvador", as a way to raise awareness among citizens and sectors of the country on the importance of the natural protected Areas which constitute the natural heritage of the Salvadoran State.
Article 2.-this Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the official journal.
