DECREE NO 91
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinal 11th of the Constitution, it is the faculty of this Legislative Assembly to decree, in a general manner, benefits
and tax incentives or any nature, for the promotion of cultural, scientific, agricultural, industrial or other activities.
II.-That the cook is that person who is dedicated to the trade of food, which is historically linked to the woman, finding in El Salvador, traditional cooks who keep the ancestral knowledge of culinary preparations of great
wingspan.
III.-Which is currently considered, which cook is not only the one who cooks, but
that is also the one who researches and nourishes the peoples, is one who with his art can improve the nutrition of the peoples, besides safeguarding and disseminate traditional and modern recipes from your country, having the mission to rescue and safeguard your country's tastes, smells, textures and ingredients
spreading the identity of your people, and innovating by giving the world new dishes, new culinary techniques, new sensations and experiences to the diner.
IV. The reasons explained above is to declare on August 10 of each year as "National Day of the Cook and the Salvadoran Cook".

Art. 1.-Declare the Ten of August of each year, "National Cook Day and the Cook Day
Save".
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal
