DECREE NO 97
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That on July 6, 2015, the Exchange of Letters between the Government of the Republic of El Salvador and the Government of Japan, concerning a donation of
500 million Japanese Yen (¥ 500,000,000), was signed. which shall be used by the Government of the Republic of El Salvador as appropriate and exclusively for the acquisition of the products listed in a list of industrial equipment, which
will be mutually agreed between the authorities concerned of the governments, and the incidental services of these products.
II.-The Instrument to refers to the previous recital has been approved by Executive Agreement No. 1325/2015 of 10 August 2015 and submitted to this Legislative Assembly for ratification.
III.-That said Exchange of Letters does not contain no provision contrary to the Constitution, its ratification being appropriate.

in use of the authority established in Art. 131, Ordinary 7th of the Constitution in relation to
the Art. 168, Ordinary 4th of it, and at the initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
DECRETA:
Art. 1.-The Exchange of Letters between the Government of the
of El Salvador
the Government of Japan concerning a donation of 500 million Japanese Yen (¥ 500,000,000), which will be used by the Government, will be ratified in all its parts. Government of the Republic of El Salvador appropriate and exclusively for the acquisition of the products listed in a list of industrial equipment, whichwill be mutually agreed between the authorities concerned of the governments, and the incidental services of these products; which consists of a note of proposal, including: Minutes of Agreement about the Details of the Procedure; Appendix I, List of Eligible Products; Appendix II, Scope of
Agent Services; Appendix III, Certificate of Appropriate Acquisition; Appendix IV, Certificate of Eligible Acquisition for the Amount Remaining (refund procedure); Appendix V, Committee Terms of Reference, and a Discussion Memory; also, a response and acceptance note
that is verbatim transcribed; both notes subscribed on July 6, 2015; approved by the Executive Body in the External Relations Ramo, by Agreement No 1325/2015 of 10 August 2015.
Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
