DECREE NO 134

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That in accordance with Article 131, Ordinary 22 ° of the Constitution of the Republic, it is the faculty of this State Authority to grant persons or

populations, titles, honorary distinctions and gratifications compatible with the form of government established, for relevant services provided to the Homeland.

II.-That article 6, literal c) of the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, establishes that the honorable and Distinguished or Distinguished distinctions, in their order of relevance, may be awarded to Salvadoran people

or foreign residents, when the services or contributions that have been provided to the Homeland, are related to the dissemination and exploitation of science, art, culture, education and sport or any other another form of service

altruistic or collective; in such a way that it represents an undeniable benefit for the Salvadoran State or its inhabitants.

III.-That Mrs. Maria Ester Orellana Bonilla, born on January 10, 1949, in

the Municipality of San Julián, Department of Sonsonate, enjoyed the privilege and blessing of being born in a home Christian, performing since the age of 12, the teacher's function of the Sunday school of his church, performing

since then, exceptional work with the youth in the social, family and spiritual areas.

IV. Since then, Dr. Orellana Bonilla has developed projects to help children and children young people to seek a better quality of life, strengthen the academic area and family integrity, promoting personal improvement,

becoming the founder of sixteen private institutions at national level called Liceos Evangelicals and collaborating with the Compassion Foundation of El Salvador, creating institutions in: San Salvador, Santa Ana, Metapan,

Ahuachapan, San Miguel, La Unión, San Marcos, Zacatecoluca, Atiquizaya, El Trító, and Usulután.

V.- That under the above mentioned merits, it is appropriate to grant to Doctor Maria Ester Orellana Bonilla, the Honorific Distinction of "Notable Educator of El Salvador," in recognition of her valuable contributions in the field

of National Education.

DECRETA:

Art. 1.-Declare Dr. Maria Ester Orellana Bonilla, "Notician Educadora de El Salvador", in recognition of her valuable contributions in the field of National Education.

Art. 2.-This Decree will enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal.
