1 DECREE No. 229

THE LEGISLATURE OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR, CONSIDERING
:
I.- by Legislative Decree No. 994, dated September 19, 2002, published in the Official Gazette No. 182, Volume No. 357, October 1
that same year, the General Maritime Port Law, which defines the Port Maritime Authority as an autonomous public service institution was issued, non profit, responsible for conducting the technical and economic regulation
maritime and port activities.
II.- The General Maritime Port Law was amended, inter alia, by
Legislative Decree No. 732, dated July 10, 2014, published in the Official Gazette No. 140, Volume No. 404, 29 of the same year, being added in Art. 10 "Powers of CDAMP", paragraph 28, which states that the Council
Board of the Maritime Port Authority (CDAMP), you can "hire, prior authorization the governing body of the AMP and checking the borrowing capacity to the Ministry of Finance, loans over one year term, in order to purchase property in any part of
national territory for the operation of administrative and operational offices AMP. "
III.- by Institutional Agreement No. 506, dated July 8, 2015, the Ministry of Public Transportation Works and Housing and Urban Development, in its capacity as the governing body, authorized AMP to conduct the negotiations
necessary for the acquisition of a building; The Ministry of Finance, according to the analysis of financial projections prepared and provided by the institution for the period 2015-2020,
dated 31 July 2015, issued a favorable opinion on the financial capacity of the AMP for hiring a loan, considering that generate sufficient flows to meet its financial commitments.
IV.- That by Public Deed of Mutual granted by the Maritime Port Authority (AMP), to Banco Davivienda Salvadoreno, SA,
dated October 30, 2015, the AMP received from said bank the amount of FIFTY THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND 00/100 DOLLARS oF tHE UNITED STATES oF AMERICA ($ 650,000.00), which will be used to finance the acquisition of the property where
work that institution offices located in Street No. 2, House 127 between Loma Linda street and Calle La Mascota, Colonia San Benito, San Salvador, whose cost amounts to SEVENTY-FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND
00/100 DOLLARS oF THE UNITED STATES oF AMERICA ($ 875,000.00); with respect to the difference TWO HUNDRED TWENTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS 00/100 UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ($ 225,000.00), will be financed with own resources.

V. That in order that the Maritime Port Authority may use the budget appropriation for the purchase of the property referred to above, it becomes
necessary to reform the current Budget Law, passed by Legislative Decree No. 866, dated November 20, 2014, published in the Official Gazette No. 229, Volume No. 405, of December 8 of that year, in Section
B "SPECIAL BUDGETS" decentralized institutions B.1 NO BUSINESS , in Section II - EXPENSES in the share of the budget of the Maritime Port Authority, incorporate into the Literal B.
income, Heading 31 Public Debt Account Borrowings 313 Internal Recruitment, Specific Source 31308 of Business private Financial, with the amount of SIX HUNDRED FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS 00/100 UNITED STATES

Maritime Port Authority (AMP).
THEREFORE,
in exercise of its constitutional powers and initiative of the President of the Republic, through the Minister of Finance, DECREES
:
Art. 1. In the current Budget Law, Section B "SPECIAL BUDGETS" NO BUSINESS B.1 decentralized institutions, the following modifications are made:
