DECREE NO 245
THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,
CONSIDERING:
I.-That the existing delimitation between the Municipalities comprising the Department of Freedom does not conform to the present development of the technology
in the field of registration and territorial measurement; nor the current circumstances of social and economic development of the country.
II. The registration technology and the photogrammetric models currently available by the National Records Center; it is possible to establish a precise delimitation and demarcation of these limits.
III. dialogue between the municipalities involved with the assistance of the National Records Center and the Institute
Geographic and the National Catastro, thus arriving in this way to the elaboration and signature of the Municipal Limit Act SAN JUAN OPICO -SAN MATIAS with reference N ° 0515 -0516, which is taken as the basis for the content of the present Decree and annexed as an integral part of it.
IV.-That the Municipal Code in its Art. 23 establishes that it is the faculty of the Legislative Assembly to decree the definition of territorial limits.
V.-That according to Art. 131 ordinal 5 ° of the Constitution it is the competence of
this First Organ of the State to decree, interpret authentically, to reform and to repeal secondary laws.

Art. 1.-It is established as a limit between the Municipalities of San Juan Opico and San Matias both of the
Department of Freedom, the following:
The trace of the Municipal Limit is made up of twenty journeys. The first journey formed
of a single section, determined by two numbered points of one to two, by line of plots; the second journey formed by three sections, determined by four points numbered from two to five, by way of terrestrial communication; the third journey formed from two sections, determined by three numbered points from five to seven, by line of plots; the fourth journey formed by a single section,
