DECREE NO 276

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF THE REPUBLIC OF EL SALVADOR,

CONSIDERING:

I.-That pursuant to Article 131 Ordinal 22 ° of the Constitution, it is up to the Legislative Assembly to grant to persons or populations,

titles, honorary distinctions and gratifications compatible with the form of government established.

II.-That the Municipality of Concepción de The East, the Department of the Union, has now achieved remarkable progress, because it has the necessary public and private services for the well-being and development of its inhabitants;

established in the Law of Honorific Distances, Gratitude and Titles, to raise its current category to that of City.

III.-That for the reasons above, the Municipality of Concepción of the East, Department of the Union, meets the conditions to grant you the City Title.

in use of the Constitutional powers and at the initiative of the Deputy Jorge Alberto Escobar Bernal and with the support of the deputies Santiago Flores Alfaro, Mario Antonio Ponce Lopez, Juan Manuel de Jesus Flores Cornejo, Valentin Aristides Corpeno, Ernesto Luis Muyshondt García Prieto, Juan Pablo Herrera,

Ana Marina Castro, Cristina Esmeralda Lopez, Carlos Alberto Garcia, Carlos Alberto Palma Zaldana, Danilo Gustavo Acosta Martinez, and Francisco José Rivera Chacón.

DECCRETA:

Art. 1.-Grant the City Title to the population of Concepción de Oriente, Department of

The Union.

Art. 2. This Decree shall enter into force eight days after its publication in the Official Journal
